Joining the Illawarra School Libraries Association (ISLA) connects you to your local school library community for professional learning and collegial support.
Membership provides:
- Free access to two ISLA network meetings per year
- Discounted admission to the annual ISLA Conference.
Anyone interested in school libraries is welcome to join. Your membership fees contribute to the ongoing operation of ISLA.
The ISLA Committee collaborates to plan and coordinate our annual ISLA Conference for school library staff. Conference themes and design change each year in response to the current environment and the emerging needs of the school library community. Conferences feature the latest industry news, authors and professional development opportunities.
Members are welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. Members are welcome to attend committee meetings and optionally contribute to planning informally or formally through elected positions via the AGM – for more information, see the “ISLA About” page.
Many of us find ISLA membership to be a great opportunity to get to know like-minded library lovers who share the passions of literature, literacy and all things library.
Membership is $40 per year. *No GST is charged on the membership fee.
